5th Grade Research Lesson

Each student in 5th Grade is beginning a research project to write their own op ed piece on a topic of their choice. In order to effectively research, students participated in a lesson using one of our online resources called Nettrekker. It is a 'safe' search engine that is reviewed by educators and by students as to the effectiveness and helpfulness of websites. Our students learned about the ins and outs of how to use this resource and how to find the most information using specific research techniques and strategies.
