In January, a group of Fourth Grade TAG students met with Cynthia Levinson an author who had recently published a book about the 1963 Children's March in Birmingham. Ms. Levinson invited and challenged the group to create a movie trailer to visually introduce her book to nation-wide audiences as she travels on her promotional circuit. The student's have been working very hard researching and creating the trailer. They are so excited to learn about this subject and also be able to create such a meaningful presentation. They created the storyboard, recorded all of the voice overs, staged pictures, chose quotes, picked out pictures, and directed exactly how the final movie will present this fantastic, critically acclaimed, book. We are almost finished with this project and I will post our final trailer right after we share it with the author next week!
The book is entitled "We've Got a Job", by Cynthia Levinson
