Students respond to a class read-a-loud book on each class' website's blog. A question is posed each week, which students respond to. The first book has been a success. Students are more engaged during the class reading time because they want to be able to produce a good blog that their peers will read. With the level of student engagement in this activity both in and outside of school time, we will be continuing these reading responses throughout the school year.
Reading TEKS: 3(A,B), 6B, 22(A-D), 21(A-D), 20(A-C)
Technology TEKS: 2(B-F), 3(A,B), 8(A-C)
