Students are learning about poetry in their ELA unit now. They have researched a poem that they are learning to type out using Word. To complete the project, students will draw a picture in Paint, save it as a .jpg, and then insert it into their final product in Word for publication. This integrated project is covering many technology related skills including: click and drag with a touch pad, logging on using their personalized network information, keyboard techniques, capitalization, punctuation, saving to a network folder, inserting a picture. The kids are excited about their final product and doing a great job!
