Last Friday, Ms. Freeman was able to spend time with one of our first grade classes to share a lesson on web navigation. The students were able to log in and they learned vocabulary words like: desktop, start bar, icon, single/double click. After locating the Internet Explorer icon, students opened the Sommer webpage and learned about the forward and backword arrows and the home button. They learned about links and navigating through a website. Students were able to find and visit a teacher webpage and interact with one of the resources on that page. Starfall.com was a fun webpage to visit!
