Slates in action!

In Mrs. Ashby's First Grade class, students are learning about problem solving in math. Mrs. Ashby used the slate to demonstrate drawing a problem out in pictures and the class discussed how to solve the problem. After modeling using the slate, students took turns drawing out new problems and then discussed how to solve it. Students couldn't wait for their turn!
