Slates in action!

In Mrs. Satterwhite's First Grade class students are being introduced to graphing. Mrs. Satterwhite used a flipchart with colors along the bottom and a grid above for students to each take a turn and write an X in the column of their favorite color. The students were so careful and thoughtful toward each other. They even had a discussion about boy and girl colors and that anyone can like any color. It was a great lesson and the students enjoyed using the new technology. Hand/eye coordination in different settings requires big-time concentration!
