All the Kindergarten classes had a formal technology lesson this week. In the lesson, the students learned a few more technology vocabulary words, including icon and desktop. They opened a Word document and learned how to create a capital letter, add spaces between words and discovered where the period is. The students ended the lesson by navigating the network and saving their document in their personal 'home' folder. In our next lesson together, we will open these documents up again and add a few more items to the page, including a picture!
