Slates in action!

In Third Grade classrooms, Mrs. Beardsley, Ms. Costanza, Mrs. McCarthy, and Mrs. Stearns are using their class slates as part of math lessons. The students took turns using the slate during math warm-up to write their responses and share their solutions. The students then interacted with a flipchart on rounding in which they dragged the number to its appropriate place on the number line. On the next page, the students wrote the correct number. In addition to the math skills, students learned about the drag tool and the different functions of the pen when using the slate. Go Third Grade!
