Slates in action!

In Mrs. Viruette's Third Grade class, students are used the slate to interact with a flipchart about multiplication. They were given a drawing, array or equation and had to solve it and show how they answered the problem. Students thought through their problem out loud and showed their work in answering the given drawing, array, or equation. When they finished their problem they were able to choose the next student to use the slate. The students were very engaged in the lesson and excited to have their turn. They used many different technology skills during this lesson as well: click/drag, save, writing, selecting, coloring, highlighting. Great lesson!
