GAFE Introductions

I am in the process of meeting with each of the third grade classes to introduce the students to their Google Apps for Education accounts. They are excited to have an email address and be able to email their teachers questions. As part of the lesson, they all created a folder in their Google Drive, named it 2013-2014 and then shared it with their classroom teacher. I explained that everything that they create in this environment for the rest of the year should be in this folder so that they can keep themselves organized. The third grade is just beginning a new PBL project and students will be creating Google presentations to show their research. It will be so much easier not to have to work from a USB drive to take their projects from school to home. They can just work from the cloud!
